1. Train Services timing

Weekdays (Monday to Saturday)
  1. The service will commence from 05:30 hrs until 24:00 hrs. The headway between each train will be 4 minutes at peak hours and 8 minutes at non-peak hours.
  2. The 1st train will leave at 05:30 hrs from both terminals i.e. Versova and Ghatkopar.
  3. The last train from Versova will leave at 23:10 hrs.
  4. The last train from Ghatkopar will leave at 23:35 hrs.
Weekend (Sunday)
  1. The service will commence from 05:30 hrs until 24:00 hrs. The headway between each train will be 8 minutes.
  2. The 1st train will leave at 05:30 hrs from both terminals i.e. Versova and Ghatkopar.
  3. The last train from Versova will leave at 23:10 hrs.
  4. The last train from Ghatkopar will leave at 23:35 hrs.


2. DO'S & DONT'S

  1. Please purchase a valid Token or Smart Card with sufficient credit to travel on the Metro.
  2. Please produce your tickets to authorized Metro employee, when requested to do so.
  3. Children under 3 feet accompanied by an adult shall be allowed to enter the system free of cost. They must enter through the wide gate near Customer Care.
  4. Children above 3 feet height must possess a valid ticket for travelling on the metro.
  5. All tickets issued by or on behalf of Metro One Operation shall remain the property of the Metro.
  6. Please do not use or attempt to use a ticket for more journeys than permitted by the ticket. It would be treated as ticketless travel.


3. BAGGAGE

  1. While travelling on the Metro you are permitted to carry baggage up to 15 kg in weight on the Metro.
  2. The dimensions shall not exceed 60 cm (Length) X 45 cm (Breadth) X 25 cm (Height).
  3. Please stand away from the train doors to allow passengers to alight first, before boarding the train. Once inside the train move away from the doors. Do not block doors and prevent them from closing as it will delay the departure of the train.
  4. When standing on the escalators, always stand on the left hand side. The right hand side should remain free for faster travellers to walk up or down.
  5. Please move away from escalators immediately after use.


4. CARING METRO

  1. Please vacate seats for senior citizens, differently abled passengers and pregnant women.
  2. Consumption of eatables and drinks is prohibited inside the trains. This is to ensure cleanliness of the trains.
  3. Pets are prohibited inside station premises and trains.
  4. The Metro system is a SMOKE FREE ZONE. Smoking is strictly prohibited and is an offence by law.
  5. Carrying of firearms without necessary metro security approval is strictly prohibited.
  6. Carrying of inflammable materials like petrol, kerosene, fire crackers etc. are strictly prohibited. Offenders shall be fined.
  7. Do not deface or put up posters inside the Metro station or in the trains.
  8. Keep away from the tactile path meant for the visually impaired.
  9. Lifts are meant for use by senior citizens, sick and the differently abled. Do not carry leaking bags or items emitting foul smell.


5. RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS

  1. It is an offence to purchase ticket that has been sold by unauthorised person.
  2. Do not cross from one platform to the other using the Metro tracks.
  3. Do not try to force open the train doors.
  4. Do not board or alight from or attempt to board or alight from the train, when a warning tone indicating that the doors of train are about to close has been sounded.
  5. Hawking of wares on the Metro premises and in the train is prohibited. The offence is punishable with a fine.


6. LOST & FOUND

  1. In case a lost item has been found in the station premises or in the train, you must immediately bring it to the notice of the metro staff present on the premises.
  2. We shall put in our best efforts to retrieve any item left behind by a customer in the station premises or in the trains and hand over the same.
  3. All property found on the Mumbai Metro Train or its premises, or if handed over by a passenger shall undergo a baggage screen check by the metro security department. The security department has the right to open and examine it before storing.
  4. The Company, without being liable, may remove or dispose any property which in its opinion can cause damage, injury or inconvenience to people. The Company reserves the rights to dispose perishable goods immediately.
  5. If a passenger has lost any property in the train or in the station premises, they must immediately report it at the Customer Care centres 022-30310900 at any of the stations and register a complaint.
  6. Alternatively, passengers can also contact us through mail or by calling our customer care to report lost property.
  7. All unclaimed items will be stored for a maximum period of one month by the Company.
  8. At the end of said one month, all unclaimed goods will be donated to a charity identified by the Company.
